Being human is hard.
This is just a fact of life.
We all deal with it … with varying degrees of success.
Anything less than 100% is nothing more than slow suicide.
I will drink from the fountain of youth
until I finally find
all the innocence lost.
I will toast to the immortal gods
until I finally sneak
up the mountain in their midst.
The moon, the stars, the wind, the cold snap.
The light, the dreams, the smile, the next step.
