Bellarmine Goes Gonzo!
I’m beyond thrilled to announce that my essay “Daydreaming Dystopia” was awarded the prize for second place in the 2023 Bellarmine Goes Gonzo Writing Contest. The event was hosted last week by the Bellarmine University Office of Military & Veteran Services in Louisville, Kentucky. Huge thank you to Lindsay Gargotto, Ron Whitehead, and everyone involved with the festivities. The contest was held in honor of Hunter S. Thompson who has been one of the most influential writers in my life, so this one felt especially cool.
