My poem “Revelations in the Marrow” was one of the runners-up in the 2020 Yasou! poetry contest. Big thank you to judges, Joanne Olivieri and Elise Stupe for their consideration. The piece is set to be featured at their site in 2021.

2020 Review
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
I’d like to take a moment and say a huge thank you to all the editors who included my work in their venues during 2020. Though it’s been a strange year, indeed, I was fortunate to have had 153 poems published by presses in the US and internationally, including translations into Spanish, Bengali, and Malayalam.
Probably the two projects I’m most proud of being involved with this year were the anthologies I was invited to serve as guest editor on. With that in mind, thank you to Sunil Sharma and Anurag Sharma for putting out the 2020 Western Voices issue of Setu Mag (the 2nd annual edition that I hope will continue this coming year as well).
And thank you to Jay Chakravarti at CultureCult Press for releasing the Hope Anthology of poetry which includes the work of 50 wonderful poets from around the world. It was an honor to serve as editor on these two collections.
Miletus Magazine
I’m stoked that my poem “Violins with Falsetto” was published in a recent issue of Miletus International Literature Magazine released through Black Mountain Press. Thank you to Umit Sener Ta for including my work. Links to all of my publications from 2020 can be found on the poems page here at 17Numa.
